shela 2 boro b 2. shels went 2 up,both goals by danny o keefe which was nice to see,as his dad is seriously ill.boro responded with both goals coming from corners.one absolute cracker from alan sheehan,met it on the volley 25 yards out and nobody was stopping this.boro had a man sent off for discent,boro lads thought this harsh but same player had been warned at least 3 times.

We (Athlunkard) conceded the winner in injury time. The game was very even overall and it looked like extra time was looming, but Knockainey got a corner and the ball basically hit off their striker and went in. Very disappointing to concede that way, after battling hard for 90 minutes and creating some good chances. Must say the pitch out there is terrible and in fairness the Knockainey lads agreed with us, you can't play football on it. It makes Croom's pitch look like Anfield

He'll be a big loss to Kennedy Park as they're still not safe from relegation, but they'd need to lose their last 2 games and Cappamore to win their last 2.

As for Dromore, they're a good side. But fair play to Bruff and Hospital for going on good runs. Bruff v Hospital will be a cracker, and then we play Bruff next Sunday, and even though we've nothing to play for, we'll be trying to win, especially as we are at home (Athlunkard)

Just for the record lads, I have to say well done to all involved at Hospital (regardless of whether they get promoted, they've given it some go)

After 6 games they only had 2 points on the board & the first week in March (approx 7 weeks ago) they were 14pts off second placed Dromore, and now they're in 3rd place only 2 points off Dromore,, both having 2 games left each.
