"So your basing the assumption on 1 game. Clever boy. They should have won the FAI last season only for outide forces getting involved. Fairview for all their players don't seem to be playing well, have struggled a few time this season already. Barely beat a 9-man Pike team sure. Superb grasp of the English language by the way. Polish? Keep it up." have a look at your own spelling innacuracies firstly "boy" before you comment on my "grasp" of the English language..The "outide" lol, forces were perhaps inside forces dont you think? lol.. Whats another year sure? Fairviews domination on a national level continues to rise and poor old Pike, in all their efforts, cant even buy an FAI.. quiete humourous i must admit..

pike to win 2-1 saw the first game this season and Pike were the better team even with 9 for most of the game, Fairview probably have better players all over the park and the squad in general but i think from what i have seen Pike are a better team and are hungrier, dont think Fairview have a settlet team at all and possibly have too many players , i was at there game against Weston yesterday and it looks like they have too many strikers and not enough midfielders, Barrett and Kelliher of fron and then 2 other strikers on the wing doyle and fahy. then Darren o' sullivan came on afetr a half hour and thats with scanlon and grant missing . only Quinn and willy o Brien for the middle as far as i coud see, Pike are possibly stronger in that dept eith hartnett , kavanagh and colbert as well as o' grady to choose fom

handball i find it hard to see how view will be favourites when considering pike are 10-1 and fairview are 14-1 to win the FAI on Powers, and Pike also have home advantage.. I may be wrong but just how I see it.

well the reason i,d put fairview favourites is because their the holders and are the most experienced and have the best history in the competition and they seem to have a knack of playing their best football in it, but thats just my opinion and could be wrong...

lads i think the attendance could be close to 700 with the time at 2.00pm you,ll have nearly every junior club in limerick and i,d say you,ll have a lot of intrest from all over munster, cork and tipp for example just hope it lives up to all the hype and is a cracking game with lots of goals 4-3 id settle for :D

There is enough squabbling over the cup as it is without trying to seed the teams!

who ever is the best team if seeded or not deserves to win the fai which ever county they are from.oviously i would hope it comes back to limerick.

I cant believe the 'especially after last year' bit. No doubt Pike are one of the biggest and best junior clubs in the country and in that respect they deserve to be in contention at the latter stages of the Junior Cup along with all the other 'biggest and best' junior clubs. but to say that they deserve to win it after last year is nonsense. In fact Pike are lucky that there were no sanctions imposed on them this year after last years fiasco.
