tough fast paced game 0-0 at half time with bruff having 2 clear cut chances but couldnt finish them off..2nd half carried on at the same pace with both teams attacking and then villa scored with what looked like a cross from close to the corner flag and sailed in over the bruff keeper..then 5 mins later bruff gave away a clear cut peno which was scored 2-0 bruff carried on attacking and were still having chances then scored from a trough ball which left the striker 1 on 1..5 mins later a mistake from a short kick out left athlunkard clean trough and was calmly finished bruff trew everything at villa but were not getting the luck had 2 balls cleared off the line and the keeper pulled off good saves then bruff were reduced to 10 men after a stupid retaliation by a player after he was fouled then a mix up in def fin with bruff scoring a og just no luck went bruffs way.story of our season so far

I find it funny that people keep predicting Villa to loose. They are second in the table and if I am right won the last 10 games at the end of last season to win 2A. They were leading the table for most of this year.

the reason i have ye down to loose the weekend is because pike have a very strong squad compaired to when they played ye early on in the season and have been getting great results lately so i fancy pike to take all 3 points but it will be a close game by all accounts

Great win for Pike who were losing twice in the game but showed great commitment to get back in the game and get the winner in the last 5 mins. Pike controlled the game from start to finish but fell asleep on two occasions to let atlunkard score we should of scored at least 4 in the first half as we were well on top. I would like to give credit to Atlunkard for there second goal when they took a clever corner and scored from it. But Eddie Lee got up well to score the winner after Anthony Lee got a cracker....... Roll on the Hoops...

Last min goal from Pike............. sickner.! we were 2-1 up with 15 mins left pike levelled with a rocket, then the turning point..... we had a 1-1 with 2mins left and missed it, pike went up the other end and scored from a corner........ over the 90 mins pike played the better and created alot of pressure but we were v dangerous on the break and had great chances. any more slip ups from us will prob finish our season.

Good win for us sunday...and I think a full Cals team wouldn't of stopped us. To be fair Cals played until the very end and maybe could of grabbed a goal or two in the first half. We were down a number of players today also and only had 1 substitute. Big game for us sunday against Pike sunday, a win will be a big step towards promotion and vice versa.

Only going by league table, Pallasgreen are not in it since the start of the season thats why i said it, as you said they will make it up as they go along and i have nothing to do with them(thank God)

Game og the weekend looks like Cappamore and Pike. Both teams will not want to drop points as both are pushing for promotion. A win for cappamore will put them more then likely aimed for promotion. A win for Pike makes them level on points with Cappamore. Pike have been in good form lately and so have cappamore and both are undefeated in a few games. Draw will be welcomed by both sides I'd say!!

Very poor performance by us today and Pike took advantage of it. They worked first goal very well and got a tap in of a second. Definately deserved the 3 points and the Pike team were solid but none very good, probably 'Deebs' (I think) from midfield was there best player. Opens the league right up and all to play for promotion.

I heard Murroe were beating Bruff 3-1 anyway don't know what it finished.

Sorry to say we were not at the races today, Hospital were harmless and we were worse, honestly dont remember a shot on target for us, only one of 2 games in which we have not scored., two bad results do not make us a poor team, last minute against a confident Pike team and an off day todaY. One thing is for sure we will have a say in who goes up from this league, wheter or not we are one. .Congrats to Pike big result. Very disappointing for us but thats football.

We had great chance to go one up in first 5 minutes when your keeper was rounded and missed a sitter in the second half. Can't argue with the result though deserved 3 points! Ref was a joke! We were missing 3 starting players also but lucky we have good squad aswell. Wouldn't get carried away still though run in. What games have you left ?

Big blow to Athlunkard at the weekend although still pushing for promotion.
