from our setanta cup days our fans and glentoran and linfield fans socialised well togther when they came down to longford.. as for the away legs the police escort we got wouldnt allow us to stop in Belfast Im afraid..

How can police stop people going to a pub if they want to? How is that lawful?

I wouldn't go that far... the Linfield supporters were mental!

They didn't stop anyone going. They said they couldn't provide "protection" if Pats fans didn't go on their agreed route/schedule. Bloke running the trips decided to go with that.
