theres a strong possibility that moyross will turn them over.would'nt be much of shock .

So your trying to tell us that if a team that plays in Div 2B (who were beaten last Sunday by a team 2nd or 3rd from bottom in Div 2B in their own divisional cup), beats the current Premier League leaders it wouldnt be muh of a shock!!!!!!!

Get a grip man......it would be a major shock but its not impossible.

they have a lot of ex prem players playing with them who still should be playing prem,so maybe it would,nt be much of a shock.did,nt polonai nearly turn the boro over a few weeks ago so why not moyross .

So your telling me that if Moyross beat the Prem league leaders, it wouldnt be a surpirise..........

Yes Moyross have some good players and yes some of them could be still playing Prem, but they are still a 2B side and for any team to beat a club 3 divisions higher than them would be a shock, end of......

That said, I think Moyross do have a chance, and it will be close (but it would still be a shock if they win).

Yes and Regional struggled to beat Hospital AET last weekend, thats what happens in cup football, whats your point?

We should've beaten Clonmel Town in the MJC this season also (a team that are in the last four of each of the two major comps), that doesn't mean we're better than them.

just answering his post alan about the polish match.but i do think moyross have a right chance.it all depends on what boro team turns up.moyross at home,nothing to lose apparently boro not playing well at the moment and thats coming from their own,so you never know kid.

stop contradicting yourself.there is no-one saying moyross are a better team all were saying that it wont be much of a shock. ive seen the boro and moyross and i think moyross hatve every chance.you said yourself moyross have a chance and the boro will not finish top of the league and you know that as well as i do.dont mind what division they are in they are a lot better than that div.they are a 1a side at the very least.

moyross are a 2B team and doing well in 2B are ye insane there is a massive diff between 1A and prem never mind prem and 2B.
i have to laugh moyross lads actually believe there going to beat the boro

Don't know where you're getting a massive difference in 1a and prem.you have the top 2 or 3 and then the rest.there isint much of a difference between star,Shannon caherdavin etc and a good few of prem teams would you not agree.

nope i would not look at star a few years back ran away with 1A ended up with 4pts i think all season.
dines 1pt this seaon they lost a few but still got promoted
mungret won the title last season and they strenghtened big time if they did not they would be below corbally.
if caherdavin got promoted would you think that team would be good enough to stay up IMO no where near it same with shannon there present teams are not good enough im sure they would sign a few players there not stupid they know they will have to.

i do agree there are a select maybe 4 or 5 teams in the prem that are alot better than the rest but to say there is no diff with the rest of the prem teams and 1A is way off

On any given day any team can get a result: Take Knocklong (2A) beating Corbally (prem) and Athlunkard (2A) 2-2 with Balla after 90mins, Balla getting a winner in Extra time, and they are only 2 I know of, of course Boro are massive favourites, but Moyross are in good form and have good experienced players so at least leave them step onto the field believing they can win.

Firstly star have a very good side this year so have Shannon I believe and caherdavin.I have seen all premier teams this year and 5 or 6 of them are no better than the teams I have mentioned.everyone knows teams coming up have to sign players and if they do they will be ok.would you have said the same about regional a few years ago.they will wi a premier league long before your club will and yere there a good few years now.ye have been struggling a few years now and only for the so called weaker teams you hAve called them ye yereselves would be back in 1a

i agree we were lucky the teams coming up were poor our we would be in 1A no doubt but we have signed good young players this season and we have improved alot we are well clear of the drop and even have some games in hand to play but does that not prove my point teams won 1A and got promoted went straight back down thats what saved us for the last 2yrs.

yep i must hold my hand up moyross have a very good little team and should of won that match 4-1 in normal time well done on yer win.
but its also good to be a good winner aswell as a bad loser.
some comments made fromthe sideline were way out of order but the 11 on the field cant help that well done moyross.

as for boro they are shocking how there top of the prem i really dont know they could not string 4 passes together. its a pity moyross will have to wait at least 4yrs until they get to prem. will they keep that team together i dont know some very good players there. there will be some prem clubs will come calling in the summer will they be tempted???

great result for moyross i must admit they caught me by susprise how good they were johnny corbett (left back :) ) was outstanding
