what have the last 7 posts got to do with tonights latest scores?
back to the topic please.

will the winners of tonights game between ucd and the blues get a place in the setanta cup if bohs win the league ?

Athletico Madrid beat us 2-1 tonight, Chris Turner with a cheeky Pen for us, a few trialists and squad players on show tonight!

Maybe it was here i got it from :) ads in paper saying you were playing Atletico Madrid X1 which usually means some first and reserve team playing. Atletico madrid B are not their reserve side. Also it was in the ad it was called a festival of football as if it was some glamour match like Rovers had against Real and Newcastle. Mutton dressed as lamb comes into mind ;)

Still 1500 turned out to support the town, u'll probably have your usual 250-300 next home game. The premier division eagerly awaits your arrival.

If anyone's interested, Waterford are beating UCD 1-0 after 63 minutes. Kenny Browne with the goal.

Finished UCD 1-3 Waterford. Bit of a shock to me. Having seen both teams recently, I really thought UCD would win it. Shows what I know.:o

yeah, sept 26 in the RSC and live on setanta!

And graham cummins getting his 20th goal this season and his 11th in eight games, not bad for a player signed as a centre half and earlier admitted he didnt really like playing up front!

Today's Irish Mirror was wrong.

Far as I know there's no Setanta place for the beaten finalist, roinuj, no matter what else the winner does. The extra place usually goes to the next in line in the Premier in that case.

The draw for where the final will take place is only happening tomorrow by the way, don't mind what some ball-hopper is saying on our site!

You have to win the League Cup to get into the Setanta. The precedent was set in 2005 when the FAI were trying to get Shels in at our expense.

Well done Waterford last night. I said it when we drew 0-0 earlier in the season that youz were the best side I'd seen in the division, and I'll say it again now. We badly need a keeper, but Waterford simply outfought us for everything and very much deserved victory.

And just to end on the usual anti-ref note, the red card was a ridiculous decision (not that it mattered). I thought the penalty was correct at the time, but looking at the video, it also seems nonsensical. Maybe the ref was trying to even himself out.

Damn Waterford bias. :mad:

It'd be a bit awkward; it's 2GB in size, so it'd take a while to attach, and I don't know if I can e-mail that much. Took about five minutes just to copy the file from the camera.

That was only in 2007, to sweeten the IAG deal for First Division clubs.
