With no soccer on i dont think it helps, ye are in a great position in the league looking at your nearest challangers dropping points but in saying that its hard to keep things going when ye havent played for so long but good luck in the new year apart from the matches against us and a happy Christmas to all:cool::cool::cool:

Wembley 3-5 Caherdavin

We went into a quick lead going 3 up within the first 20 minutes. Could have made it 4 only for a missed penalty. Wembley started to get into the game and scored a penalty right before the break. They came out in the second half and played all the football barr a couple of counter attacks from ourselves and brought the game back to 3-3 with about 10 minutes to go. Within 2 minutes though we made it 3-4 and another minute later 4-5. Was a decent game with both teams showing they are capable of putting together a good performance.

His brother used to be the chairman of the club for years(John Kavanagh) and he now has a nephew on that team. Plz ldmc have a look at this .How could this be fair on other teams. Have to agree with this. Fair enough if he did one or two of their games, the league isn't exactly blessed with loads of referees but to do 6 games this season is a joke and has to be changed.

Any of you lads play inter-firm last year?

Company i am working for were talking about putting in a team but we'd be pretty poor, just wondering if we could join a low division maybe? Any info on how to enter, when it starts etc let me know.

As far as I kno there were only two divisions last year (3 the year before).. Have played Inter-firm for the last 3summers now, definately worth putting in a team (even if ye are poor) it's a good laugh!! Great way to keep fit over the summer:cool:. 30mins a side on some decent pitches! How to enter ur team, as far as I kno, closer to the summer the LDMC will meet in The Spotted Dog to finalise the leagues, just attend the meeting & go from there! This is usually in May & posted on the Limerick Leader for a couple of weeks beforehand.
Also, keep an eye here on foot as a thread will surely be set up for banter!;)
