brutal stuff. That pitch is going to be worth a few points to Dundalk over the course of the season.

Totally agree, i think it will make a huge difference and i don't think its fair really when you do think about it.

Any less fair than the Showgrounds pitch on its worst days?

There are awful pitches all over the league, just because its plastic doesnt automatically make it unfair

i think dundalk and bohs are a disgrace. imagine a nice open attacking game, it would get the casual fan at least remotely interested but no hoof ball hoof ball hoof ball

thought Bohs finished the stronger. Any pass on that pitch has to be inch perfect really and i dont think that is helping the game.

Surely it does to some extent if everyone else is playing on grass. Maybe not unfair but a definite advantage.

Does that mean its unfair to Dundalk every away game?

Different doesnt mean unfair. Clubs have a choice. Many train on astroturf at times anyway.

Sligo player would be more used to the bounce of the ball in the showgrounds, Bohs players would be more used to the width of the pitch in dalymount and so on and so on.

Personally Id take a plastic pitch over some of the excuses for pitches Ive seen in the league. Its not perfect but very few are

Yeah no goalkeeper listed, but they have listed eleven outfield players including Conor Sinnott who's injured.

I'm thrilled for Jeff. Now he knows what he did was wrong. He treated us like **** and now he's been dumped in it. Good enough for him
