Forgot to update it to include Foster!
As i'm typing I just realised that there are 15.........Ben Amos played in the League Cup this year.
13 of those listed above all played in the Premiership!
Ferdinand being the exception who played vs Portsmouth in the FA Cup!

well they both scored in the fa cup final so im guessing Kanu??
Wouldn't have anything to do with a handy form of transport in times of great flood, by any chance?
For future reference, Sir Trev did it in 1980. The "it" being score the winning goal in the FA Cup final, unless thischarmingman had something else in mind...
Indeedy. I love threads like this.
Name the most southerly and the northerly clubs sides to have won a European trophy?
Name the player who has scored the most goals against Liverpool?
Name the Spurs player who has won the Championas League?
Which player has played in the WC, all 4 Eng leagues, the conference, CL, UEFA Cup and La Liga?

France and Germany perchance?
I thought maybe Czech Rep after 1996 but they only climbed to second as far as I recall.

St. Petersburg isn't actually the answer I was looking for but since the question might predate the fact they won the Uefa last year I took out my atlas to check and it has now superceeded the original answer- Gothenburg. Seville is also right.
Prior to 2006 Benfica had held the honour.
Funnily enough, I presume Benfica are also the most westerly club the win a European trophy, unless Galway have one knocking about somewhere? And St. Petersburg are also the most easterly. Funny that.

Then you have Malmo or IFK Gothenburg
The only other places southern than sevilla are maybe athens which would include Panathikos or Majorca but i don't think the later won an european trophy
See post above.
