alot of the Shels team were involved with the Distillery and Lisnagry teams that were chucked out of the league,they just sign with another club and thats it while the club suffer,individual bans the only way to sort this,someone will get seriously hurt at one of their games pretty soon

Not trying to fight Shelbournes case but apparently its the same fella causing the hassle every time, this just what i have been told. Im sure there are players on the Shels team that do want to play and do it in a proper manner, they can't all be trouble makers, can they?.
That player that you are talking about has just received a six months ban.. IMO he got of very lightly.. but he will be back..

That in effect is really only a 3 (+ a bit) month ban, as there are only 3 months left in this season (March, April & May) with June July & August he's other 3 months (resulting in him being banned for 3 months of this season and maybe a week or two at the end of August.

there is only two or three of those and we are not one of them and an average 1a side would have to play out of there skins enen to beat the weakest premier team:eek::eek::eek:

What i mean is in 1a compared to the other teams in the league we're not average...would you mind telling me who u play for now?

That wouldnt be hard, the standard in 1A is poor (bar 3/4 teams) and he currently plays with Carew Park, and if your an out and out Dines man you'll remember him.

I think i have him, a guy i've seen hit the post with a free kick from inside his own half on an away fai trip years and years ago...could be his brother tho

watched that game. poor game of football i thought, with geraldines definitely deserving the win. pitch was bad, grass too long. athlunkard had most of the ball without really creating any good chances. geraldines 2 wingers were excellent

Too long and very uneven...didn't know which way the ball was gonna bounce for you. Physical side also athlunkard, thought we stood up to that well

Dines and mungret are on the good side of the draw, i'd fancy one of us to make it to the semi finals. We had a tough game aswel against s'ville. They are an organised team and went ahead early wit a smashing goal but we took control of the game from then on and pulled 2 goals back

agree with you 100%. impossible to play any sort of football on it. best move of the match was yere 1st goal. nice through ball and a good finish, very hard to defend against that. 2nd goal was a bit fortunate with the deflection and the 3rd had a hint of offside about it. 2-0 probably would've been a fair result. ya athlunkard are a physical team, 2 tall centre-halves, good in the air. the midfield won it for ye, lot fitter and used the ball a lot better

think athlunkard would be a far better team with a better surface to play on. They dominated between the 2nd and 3rd goal.

i've been involved with athlunkard for a while now and we play better away from home. the pitch needs to be cut and rolled. no excuses for yesterday though, ye were the better team and took yere chances. if we'd scored that one on one in the 1st half it would've made things interesting. felt sorry for the back 4, they'd a lotta defending to do, yere strikers ran em around a good bit

This is a game we will be looking forward to as we have nothing to lose. good for us to play a footballing team will give us more of an idea what is required to go further up the divisions as we have a young squad and they are capable of playing good football.:)

ye'll give em a good game. there is no difference between 2B, 2A and 1B, very little anyway. 1A is usually good but this year the standard of 1A isn't great. ye have a very solid defence and a fella up front who can score goals, if ye do go up to 1B ye'll stay up no hassle
