Great result for us this morning out in Kilmallock..Must say the pitch was in great nick...Fairly even contest with Kilmallock doing a lot of the passing(as u'd expect) and had much of the possession...We scored 1st from a great through balll..They then equalised before the half...We went 2-1 u then and they scored again with about 10 mins to go..No score in et but we had the best chance in that to finish it but ball was cleared off the line..We won 4-3 on pens then...
Good result for us and good result for 2a!!

Thats what this competition is all about winning when you should win, and going out and actually doing the job kilmallock are a very well organised team with some genuine qualty ill be amazed if their relegated out of premier

Yes well organised and a great setup out there....Very good passing team but we disrupted that as much as e could and got in there faces and got the result...yeah i heard balla b were unlucky as well...

heard ye were unlucky today mulla??

i don't know about unlucky but we limited them to some half chances,3 of which they took 1 in the last minute,on the other hand we had 2 very good chances which we didn't take,we scored from a penalty,they did a lot of good work around the pitch passing wise and moving the ball well as you'd expect from a team on top of the premier and there main threat was crosses that came from aherne i think.They were 2 1 up with about 5 to go when they started doin some time wasting stuff like bringing the ball to the corner flag and stuff like that which to be honest I took as a compliment for us and i'd reckon they were genuinely happy to have got the win

Kennedy Park (O'Toole, S.Rooney & Massey) 3-4 Star Rvs (Flynn, O'Grady, Morton & Woodland)

0-0 after first half in which Star had most of the possesion, KP then went 2-0 up after 60mins, Star then pulled 4 goals back without reply, only for KP to score in injury time to make it 3-4 full time.

I think even the most genuine of KP players/fans on here would say Star were the better team on the day and deserved to go through.
