ban for life i think is the only way to sort that out, otherwise there will be no referees and therefore no games
ban for life and punish the team. . we cant be havin that:mad:

ref said it was............but yet the Boro B played on it in the afternoon, I think!!
that pitch was fine. . i was up there that morning and there was a bit of dew on the grass but nothin more.
it should have gone ahead:ball:

Anyone in the Waterford section of this?

I'm involved in Red Star vs Accrington Celtic on Sunday. Anyone played against Red Star before? Nice ground? Any info?

Played against them in the F.A.I last year, pitch is poor but have since moved to a better grounf from what i've heard. In division 1B which is two divisions below premier. They had a big foreigner in the middle, handy enough but he has moved to one of the premier sides. Young enough side but not great, reasonably fit.

MJC 1st Round

Janesboro3-0 Weston Villa

Shane Clarke 2(1 pen)
Thomas Clarke

Boro never got out of second gear and possibly should of had more, some sloppy finishing and some fine saves from Westons sub keeper kept the scoreline down,Mark Keane,Tom Clarke and Bobby Cregg played well for Boro

Yeah ground is nice, 1-1 with them at half time when it was called off due to horrible wind, rain, dangerous surface. Nice outfit. Replay next week.

I think both clubs have to agree to it in advance (ie some players work on Saturdays), but overall I think it would be a good idea to play ball on Saturday's TBH.

If it continues to rain like it has been for the last 2 days, then I'd say it will be off.

I dunno, think it will be at least 7-0, balla are very strong and cant see moyross scoring on them.. It is summerville B though, kilmallock aren't a bad side and think they will get a good win over them...:D

i think balla will win but some predictions are way off. this is a huge match for moyross and i believe we could see one of the biggest turnouts of the season at this match

Why do clubs allow their B teams enter the Munster Junior and then complain that the season is too long. I'm all for giant killing exploits but let it be in a competition locally like the Lawson cup. Lets not hold up the provincial competitions with games that turn out to be hugely lobsided and irrevelant. Its a wasted weekend for both sides and for football in general.

Dont think they are that far off. Moyross did lose 9-2 to pike recently and balla are of similar standard. I would much rather if it was a close game but the gulf in class will be overwhelming for moyross.

have to agree with you regarding the gulf in class.what im saying is moyross will have a huge following for this game and this will give them a big help. dont forget this is their cup final. to me this is the big de..rby in town neighbours and best mates playing against each other. very happy with a 2 or3 nil win

i understand where your coming from. my own opinion is that the a team can use the b players if they need to once they are registered for that seasons comp

Some players have work and family committments and basically cant committ to A team training and football so they have signed B's...A few others just want to step back and enjoy there football and get out a few saturday nights and enjoy there life a bit..

Clubs can only enter 1 team in the Lawson and its the A team that will be playing in that. So some clubs give their B teams a chance in MJC. Maybe keeps the B team players happy to have a chance in a big competition otherwise the B team would only have their league and cup to play in.

you were spot on with our league result last week as well Gerry ,not...You reckon we will be beaten that badly on sunday? You seem to want us to get hammered every week...You had us down to get hammered last week as well against aisling as we won 4-1....No confidence in us ?
