fairview have had a handy draw all the way through this compitition so far. So I expect them to go far in this...

Away to Dungarvan will be no easy game I can tell you, they have some fine players.........View will be lucky to come away with a win down there....

Pike didnt play in the first half and they paid for it,a soft goal to give away but had at least eight chances to score but couldnt convert,i have to say tramore were no bad side i think honestly we'l be a stiffer opposition than pike and should have more than enough to take them.I have to say the ref and both linesman will want to forget that game it would be nice to see them doing all the pike matchs:p

why would they want to forget the match, because they made afew mistakes, there is no one on here talking about how poorly k hartnett played or how bad pikes great defence played,i was at the match and it's the same old story everytime alocal team gets beaten it's the refs fault, pike were just not good enough on the day

disappointing result for pike though tramore have a decent side, poor post xmas for the pikeys now out of FAI and MJC.just looking at the team and there seems to be a lack of balance in the side especially in defence.

If you were the ref sunday would you be proud of yourself . Everybody knows pike still did enough to get a result , even if it wasnt their finest display . The ball just wouldnt go in the net , and you say you were at the game . May be you were next door playing golf .

who scored the winner in the first ever FAI senior cup at the fairgreen.....when they were down to 10 men for most of the game:D

Your hardly saying Philip purcell was a better player than pat or joe the legend hannon ,philip was a good player but he wasnt good enough too get into our teams, didnt really play in the big matchs but a nice chap he was around 28/29 when he was with us.

no he was not good enough to remove either of the above from the team. my point exactly, not many would have at the time.....

Lads just heard tail end of radio tonight, Regional won 2-1 and are through to last 4, Newcastlewest were beaten 5-0 so that means trophy goes to Limerick or Waterford this year, Carrick mut be favourites now but Regional and Firview are still big contenders

Heard the Kilamllock under 17 result too, Mike aherne said they won 2-1 in Galway, great result for them, they really have got things right out there at youths and under 17 level, good luck to them

are regional good ? have they won much in the last few years ?
carrick are after hitting form in a big way, pity the goals dried up for a few weeks around fai "time". this team deserves more than 2 major honours (which they have now ) i cant see them losing again this year !!!

Regional seem to be in a similar position. They thrashed Pike Rovers 3 nil 2 weeks ago and then lost to the bottom team in the league at the weekend. Should be a good match as from what i've seen Regional can beat anyone on their day and seem to save their best for better opposition.

Carrick 1 Regional 3
