    Graham Kavanagh

Looks like he was man of the match for Wigan against Villa today:

Why can't he do that for Ireland?

Is he a realistic option for the next campaign?
There is no such thing as a miracle cure, a free lunch or a humble opinion.

Well, he's more of an attacking midfielder but we keep playing him in the holding role cause he looks like Roy.

Kavanagh probably has unlocked potential - sounds funny to say that because he is in his thirties

Of course he can. Jesus, people are going OTT after one poor display in green. Wigan would be nowhere near 4th if it wasn't for Kavanagh.

People are indeed going over the top, especially when they trot out the silly opinion or excuse that we just don't have the plaers to cut it at this level, please cast you mind back to the last World Cup when we had a central defensive partnership of Sieve Staunton & Gary Breen, a midfield of Holland & Kinsella and a strike force of Duff & Keane with Quinny with 20 mins.

Supporting cast included Harte and G.Kelly & Kilbane. We have better players now IMHO.

Kavanagh is a very good player. He can pass the ball around superbly, he can take Free-Kicks and has an aggressive tackle and is determinded to win the ball at all costs. He should starting in the first 11 for Ireland.

Well, I think that Francis and him in the middle are the reason behind their current success, but as the season wears on, that stat will be forgotten about.
