It's amazing what wikipedia can teach you. I went there to find some info about Earls, and ended up discovering that former NI intervational Colin Clarke is the manager of the Puerto Rican narional team.

I believe he also manages Puerto Rico's club team the Puerto Rico Islanders who are in the CONCACAF Champions League and beat Beckham's team in the last round.

Billy Mehmet (ex St Mirren, played for our U21s 6 years ago) scored Genclerbirligi's (of Ankara) opening goal against Istanbul BBSK (4th team in Istanbul) from the penalty spot in tonights Turkish Premier League.

Genclerbirligi have recently signed a lot of English-speaking players (NZ's Shane Smeltz, Aussie Mile Jedinak and ex Hearts player Micheal Stewart).

Thanks for the mention Joe. Me and a friend have set up www.greenscene.me
It focuses on all Irish players, but unlike many sites we are not focusing just on Premiership irish. We will be following lower league irish players as well as irish players on the continent.
Anyone who fancies come on over and have a look and add us on twitter

Great site Carloz, I particularly love the profiles on players in the lower divisions and leagues! However, hasn't it been proved that Julian Kelly is actually uneligible to play for us?

Padraig Amond made his Pacos de Ferreira debut, coming on as a sub in the 57th Minute.

Think that might be Martin Kelly you're thinking of...
I pity the fool!.... But suggest ways that he might improve himself.

Julian Kelly as well, he's a full back at Reading. Played a few times for the U-17s before finding out he was ineligible

Is there anything official on that? I can't see anything anywhere (except on the forum here).
