Site updated with the latest transfers, squad members and games played to date in the season: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/GameDayDetails
As always, if you notice any player missing or assigned to the wrong club, please inform me and I'll update it as soon as possible.
One new feature I've included is a list of currently unattached players: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/ClubDetails?clubID=0
At least, I was not able to find any record of these players current clubs. Again, if you know the correct club for any one of them, please let me know and I'll update it as soon as I can.
Mods: can you please make this thread a sticky at the top of the forum, as in previous seasons? Thanks
Tets, Should Terry Dixon be on the unattached player list?
There's an argument to include him alright. He never played for the first team, and, as a rule, I only track players who have at least made the bench for a club. If I did add him, there could be similar arguments made for every player released from reserve sides across the country. I won't be updating the site again until Friday, if people think he should be added then I'll include him in the update
Sean Scannell out of action for 5 to 6 months after knee surgery.
Holohan started for Norwich tonight and Gilmartin on the bench for Watford in the Championship opener.
Oldham's site has one with him born in '91 and as a midfielder but BBC reported he is 24 years old

Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here
Paul Green had a fine game for Derby against Leeds today. Made a very good run and a good pass for Derbys first goal.
He was busy and a nuisance all afternoon. Frequently muscled or just nicked the ball off the toe of Leeds players.
" I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die?"
Kieron Cadogan at Crystal Palace is a right winger who played today. Any Irish connections?

Graham Carey made his first appearance on loan at Huddersfield from Celtic
Dyane Mattis and Alan Lee scored for the second game running for Chesterfield and Crystal Palace, respectively
Dave Mooney and David Norris scored twice for Ipswich and Colchester
Ronan Murray made his debut, and scored for Ipswich
After signing last week, and being an unused substitute at the weekend, Connor Doyle made a late debut for Derby
Conor Doyle is American, isn't he?
No, he's an Irish Texan!
Anto Flood made his Orebro SK (Sweden) debut on Saturday.
That's a pretty tenuous link. He's never shown any inclination that he'd ever want to play for us, from what I can see.
