Ireland's miss is horrendous, but he seemed to be involved in every through ball in the middle of the park.
some save from Shay Given from Jones as well, and includes Keogh's shot off the bar
Andy Reid just scored a nice chip against Norwich in the Carling Cup
Make it two for Reid, the second was just a tap in
Colchester beat Norwich at home 7-1 on the opening day and it looks like Sunderland might equal or better that
Wes Hoolahan got a tap in as well for Norwich
Also, I read this on West Ham's site
Zola, who confirmed that Dean Ashton was "still doing his rehabilitation" on his long-term ankle problem, said Kieron Dyer had sat out with "tightness in his muscle" and should be OK for Blackburn Rovers away on Saturday. Valon Behrami and Terry Dixon are also set to train fully later this week meaning the only other absentees are Herita Ilunga (jaw) and the long-term Luis Boa Morte (knee), while Savio has been unwell this week. Regardless of the squad situation, the manager felt his side more than held their own against expensively-assembled opponents who have also seen off Liverpool and Hull City this season. "That was the most encouraging thing and that's what I told the players. We matched them in everything they did.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
QPR have just punished them, with Hogan Ephraim firing the Championship side in front from the edge of the area.

You think this guy may have Irish roots ?

Certainly sounds like he has. Get in touch with the FAI about him and let them know about him or ask them to find out if he is eligible. I did it with James Wallace and they got back to me within 20 mins.

Hi I have been asked a few times about Patrick and how he is getting on ( he is my nephew) so i thought I would update people.
Patrick played for the under 21's and is currently playing for FC Berlin who were promoted last year to the second division in the Bundesliga and are currently top of the division. He is a regular player for them and enjoying his football. He has very fond memories of playing for Ireland and follows the teams progress and has been to see as many matches as he can.
