what are you moaning about .By your logic the more fans you get at the games the higher up the leauge you should be , just dosent work out like that im afraid .Clubs need investment from other sources as all gates in the eircom leauge are pathetic.
anyone find it strange that sligo and harps have higher average attendances that pats and drogs and despite this sligo are still under pressure with the wage cap.
we have a much smaller squad and much lower wages.
These use of other forms of income is wrong when working out this percentage.
this sugar daddy money is winning the league , european spots and setanta places for these clubs.
i accept that chelsea are similar in the premiership and understand and maybe even crave the concept of buying success.
just in case the fans of these clubs think that they are near the top for any other reason

There's been almighty rows on here over the number of away fans at games, with fans from pretty much every club responsible. Given there's no oficial away support figures, I'd say a season-long attempt would be about the most inflammatory thread ever in the history of the internet!
No. If they have sugar daddies, they have sugar daddies. (Just so long as it doesn't involve selling your ground, money going in in the form of loans or the fans of the clubs involved thinking the good times will last for ever).
Also, Sligo's attendances would probably drop by 20% if you published official crowds. Just a general trend with comparing estimates and official figures.
Avg gate of 1,600 very much doubt anyway you seem to take the lowest estimate rather than a figure in the middle. Bar the game against you our crowds have been quite decent this season, not sure why there is not exact figures released from our games though.
1,119 an improvement of 250 approx on our last league game its a start but the promotion of the next league game will have to be cranked up. Over 2,000 tickets sold already for the leeds game wednesday which just drives me mad.Id say 100 sligo fans there much smaller than we would have expected.
We are the Galway Boys Stand up and make some noise"
Poor crowd in Finn Park, local press giving crowd as around 1300 but Id say more like 1000.
Summer football me arse.![]()
yea terrible but id like to see how many any clubs would get more if they were rock bottom all season.

God considering it is your big match of the year it is shocking, looked to be less than 900 home fans so that is not a good home crowd.
About 200 at Kildare v Dundalk tonight I would guess, maybe 250
Cmon County!
The crowd in Terryland was still higher than the figure reported here for the last home game of the team on top of the league.
1,119 vs 1,089.
there was 627 at Wexford v Sporting last night
And Miles To Go Before We Sleep
Haven't gotten my hand on an official figure for UCD v Rovers last night, but would say about 1100. Maybe a bit less.
Only about 2,400 at the Derry V Bray game. Oxygen and the 12th week-end probably didn't help.
So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html
Not Galway's fault in my opinion. The system was open to clubs to submit their current and prospective attendances and myself, LtiD, and a few of the UCD lads among others pointed out how ridiculous that was at the time of the FAI league takeover and got cursed off the site quite a few times for our 'obsession'. Allowing clubs to submit their own attendances and what they think they would get in the Premier without an independent FAI team taking official figures at at least two thirds of every club's games that season was one of the more idiotic decisions they made coming into the Super Duper League. That Galway allocated themselves a larger prospective attendance amid debatable actual figures* (they probably weren't the only ones to do so I might add)and were subsequently given a Premier spot is the sole fault of the FAI for coming up with the system.
* Let's not get into the Galway attendance thing for that season again, we've gone around in circles on it and there's no way for me to prove that Galway were lying about their numbers, or vica versa
