The Mayo cup games are not going to count for the predictions league, partially because there are too many poins to tot up, but mostly because I didn't make any predictions! The divisional cup games do count though. Interesting weekend ahead with Fahy and Crossmolina both in tricky ties and in a position to put some distance between each other. We were fairly lucky to beat Celtic in the cup by all accounts, whilst Kilmore are hard to beat on their own pitch, which should be like marble at this stage. I'm sitting on the fence and predicting both teams will draw, changing nothing whatsoever.

Its a bit of a crunch weekend alright, a win for Celtic B and Manulla B would re-open the whole league wheras a win for Fahy and S & F would see a bit of a gap opening up...

Kilmore need to win to be within a realistic chance of promotion.

    Should be good

i think manulla will even admit they were very lucky.
celtic hit bar twice and had 3 off the line and were better team on the day
i got to see most of this game ,and celtic B where by far the better team and played the better football too, its a awful shame that this great bunch of young players wont be able to play in the super leageue if they finish in the top 2.

surely it would be a greater benfit to the quailty of the super leageue having good teams like this in it ,and not the YO-YO clubs that go up ,get hammered all year ,come back down and then struggle for the next couple of season's.(ie. ballavary bb ,achill rovers, conn rangers ,) all these teams are playing in the lower division's after the beatings taking in the super leageue ..

I agree the top 2 teams should go up, but then you have the problem with Celtic B putting out weakened side against A for example and then playing their strongest team against Westport.

It's neither here nor there though at the moment with both promotion spots being filled by 1st teams...

    Great Result

    Swinford 2 Westport B 1

Could have been 4 or 5 only for the westport keeper, sweet victory for swinford over John Moran's men ( the man who walked out on swinford at the start of the year !!!!!) hopefully they can push on from here..

I think once these outstanding fixtures are played things should be pretty clear.

    manulla vs celtic
    kilmore vs celtic

    fahy vs swinford.

swinford coming into a bit of form so could be a tight one with fahy who seem to be hit and miss. manulla for celtic will be a tough one also.

glenhest seem to be slipping down the way, another good win for S&F. s&f seem to be on a great run and dont seem to be given away 2many goals. look like PF has found form scoring the 2 for s&f at the weekend.
big win for swinford gettin one over there ex-manager...

How exactly are Fahy hit and miss? Still in Mayo cup, semi of Tuohy cup, second in the league, scored 17 goals in 6 games in league. Only 'miss' would be a 5-2 beating by S & F the morning after a stag.

Early days yet to be talking about going up to the super league, but thats what we're aiming for...

And we're aiming to win the Mayo cup, Tuohy cup, and at this stage I'd take final of conn cup and last four of fai junior

    Should be good

And win we did! Should have won by alot more but hey, a win is a win. Cross trying to take out our Keeper in the first 10 min didn't work the way they wanted Can't believe the ref didn't do anything about it either. Got the game on Thursday vs Celtic next! Should be good
