Shock! Horror! Lots of mentions for cricket. Some people are so wrong it's not even funny. Cricket is fascinating. Baseball too.
I don't gamble, so I don't get horse racing. Motor racing, particularly Formula 1 has become tedious over the last ten years or so.
I'm a fan of snooker, but it's heading in the same direction.

Any sport that you get marks for style is generally a no-no. Specifically ski-jumping. I don't care how still he keeps, if he gets the furthest he should win.

Can certainly be exciting, and whats not to like about going to Eng V Aus on the 4th day of an Ashes test at Old Trafford in glorous sunshine on a sunday morning and cracking the 1st beer at 10.45 as England are about to get tanked by Warne, gillespie etc

    Add ice skating

Yank football, motor racing (environmentally dodgy AS WELL AS just plain boring), Horses and Dogs (sport in the old sense of the word).

Cricket and Baseball are very enjoyable games - you just need patience. Also, note the possibilities of drinking while watcing are very high too...
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

I can drink wihle not watching them too, though.

Cricket is remarkably same-y, is my problem. People stand around, one person rubs his crotch with the ball, runs up, hurls it down the wicket to the batsman, who lets it go wide. And we all stop and do the exact same thing another thousand times.

And the qualitative difference between that and the hunt for the new Ireland manager is what, exactly?

    From Wiki definition:

Curling: Teams alternate turns at sliding heavy, polished granite stones down the ice towards the target area called the house. Two sweepers with brooms accompany each rock and use timing equipment and their best judgement along with direction from their other teammates to help direct the stones to their resting place. The complex nature of stone placement and shot selection has led some to refer to curling as "chess on ice".

I think Don Givens should look at this formation tonight.

Horse racing, rugby and NFL. Went to see the San Francisco 49ers play the St Louis Rams in November. Two hours of my life I'll never get back.

Left early. Couldn't hack it. They were all going metal celebrating even when they just recovered possession in midfield. Strange stuff.
The local rag even said it was a crap game so maybe I'm judging to harshly. Actually no, I'm not. F**k off NFL

I think I should the parachute, because I'm great.

In fact, I think I should get both parachutes, in case one doesn't work.

I think this thread should just be about mainstream sports as minority sports easy to avoid.

Golf, Aussie Rules, Athletic (Marathon and Walk) races, but worst of all,

Chess. Literally, nothing happens for ages.
