Fav city has to be Perth in Australia.Great weather, great beaches, great women, great public transport, easy to get around & safe to walk at night and it's cheap.
Least Favourite has to be Dublin.Over priced, terrible public transport,sh1t weather, impossible to get around, full of scumbags and a bit on the dodgy side to walk around at night and way over rated.
It's a shame really because it has some decent pubs and lots of character and history.

Wasn't there another murder there last night too - a Pakistani doctor throttled to death while out for a jog.

Montreal would be up there aswell only for it spends 6 months a year under snow and tipping for everything is a pain.Originally Posted by Dublin12

As a matter of interest what classifies an area as a city?
Aside from Belfast and obviously Dublin, it is a bit of a stretch to call places like Galway, Cork and Derry a city when that is what London, New York and Tokyo are, while it is ridiculous to call places like Kilkenny a city.
That's not a judgement on those places, Galway is the best place in Ireland IMO, as for Cork I personally don't see anything appealing about the place but I don't see anything negative about it either, while Derry is rather dull. And who considers Sligo to be a city!!!
As for Dublin being a least-favourite city, good call. It has developped into what seems to be just another "British" city. No different than the medium sized cities through out Britain, high crime etc and not the cleanest of places.
