This is the Galway league table at the moment and as it stands West UTD are in 4th position. We Newtown played them in the FAI last year and they were very poor, saying that they beat us and we were at home.We were absolutely terrible same day.Maybe i am wrong but if they are mush the same team as last year then they aren't great.
If you're in the penalty area and don't know what to do with the ball, put it in the net and we'll discuss the options later

FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT

Honest opinion lads Villa fc are no great shakes, Newcastle West should have beaten them last Sunday but couldn't finish their chances

West are a very physical side and have a few new additions since last year when they were promoted back to the prem. They beat us 1-0 in a scrappy match in the swamp in the early rounds this year. They know how to stifle a team , but are on a good run this year, a lot of drawn results in galway.

If you have them at home its a big advantage, although they have moved pitches in galway to millers lane, salthills old pitch which is not too bad, pretty sandy though.

i got this from a mate ( note i dont have a clue jimbo as i dont live at home!!! ) so eltell will give a proper explanation but here is what this person said ( taken out the names incase these lads dont want them to appear on the web )
"mc scored the goal after c intercepted a poor pass back, he chipped the ball over the keeper and goin in on goal from a tight angle he crossed for mc to head towards the goal, was clearded off the line but came back to mc who luckily forced it in. could have scored a few more but held on well, they hit the post twice, they were a good football team but never really looked like scoring. Stumpy and bobo played great at the back...."

Luckily the game is in Limerick so referee Mr (Red Card) Doheny won' be in charge to favour Woodview by sending off opposition players. ( nothing against Woodview, good side but lucky to be at this stage of the competition.

Any one no what west utd are like. castlerea celtic.
No disrespect at all to castlerea as they've done great to get this far but they have had 5 home draws to date with a sixth to come. As regards the Sligo teams they played 2 premier sides and one average super league side. They also lost to a struggling super league side in the connacht cup.

Have to fancy West for this one, recently knocked the super league leaders from sligo out of the connacht cup and going well in a strong galway league. Sorry castlerea

we have been playing all our games in local grounds while our pitch is being developed new survice add flood lights . the game against trinity wasent a bad game ronan robbed the keeper on the end line out at the edge of the 18 yard box he passed to conor whos shot was blocked on the line by three defenders but coner poked the ball in from between there legs right on the line, trinity hit the post once had a lot of the ball but our defence delt with everything well they had 3 or 4 shots well wide we had our chances to put it to bed too .
THe game will b in glenamaddy and its on sun week the 18th @ 2 pm
