I appreciate your comments but I beg to differ about the “limited knowledge of football”. You seem to be putting me across as a “Peake” man, which is certainly not the case

. If you read my previous posts over the years you might get the gist that I am not a Peake man and I’m in total agreement with your statements on Barry Ryan and also that the teams like peake, celtic and cahir are getting things sorted and can only be good for the league. It will hopefully bring the days of a “two horse race” in the TSDL to an end.
Credit where credit is due for Saints, I don’t disagree. They were obviously the better side on the night, but what I was saying is that they weren’t a shadow of their former selves, but on the flip side, it’s early in the season and they probably have a few players to get back, Davy Ryan and Kevin O’Sullivan. Tobin is a good signing for them this year again. Tobin, Walsh, Breen, Cremmins, a good back four if they could find a replacement for Cremmins, my own opinion is that he has had his day. But on the Borris side of things, they are still lacking 4/5 players to make a good team. James Scott is their best player, but is hounded with injuries year in year out, and again last night had to retire from the game with injury. Danny Graham is strong, but lacks speed and always had. Ken Ryan didn’t do much last night after he came into the game so at the moment, going forward, they don’t impress at all.
