If Rovers turn Cork over tonight a win on Monday against Bohs would i think make us massive favourites to win the league.
Even with two games in hand it would be hard to see bohs coming from 12 points back and thats assuming they win in Waterford.

That being said a 3rd win over us and the title race is well and truely on
Like a bit of a chicken id take a win over Cork and a draw to keep Bohs at arms length.

Last weekends double week was a huge one for Rovers with 6 points but the oppurtunity is there for anyone this weekend.
Drogs appear to have the handiest weekedn of the top half clubs home and away to Sligo and then Cork, everyone else has a tougher weekend in theory at least.
If PAts or Derry or Shels want to get back into the race now would be a good time to start

El Clasico in the Midlands in the first Division and is it time Dundalk 6 points clear at the moment wrapped the league up with a couple of wins in style

I know Bohs may seem like the only, possible challengers at this point, but I'd imagine that it's the three teams mentioned who'll be closer come the end of the season. Mainly because they have a bit of cash, and could sign well next month.

Expecting very little from ourselves this weekend. Two Dublin trips in four days, I'd accept two points, wouldn't be surprised if we end up with none.

We could be starting the game with a 16 year old, two 17 year olds and a backup centre half in defence. Plus we're still not playing particualy well and really struggling to break teams down. If there is a game that we're most likely to lose the streak, it would be tonight.

I would guess Virgin would also like to see both Rovers & Bohs have wins in Friday's games to set up the live TV game on Monday night and a big TV audience!

Poor performance from Bohs but an absolutely shocking performance in particular from Leigh Kavanagh. Have no idea why we decided to give him long contract recently, fella is nowhere near good enough for this level.

Kerry got off to a flying start. The rest of the half been poor enough form a Kerry perspective. Bray's main threat has been set pieces so far. 1-0 Kerry at half time.

He was directly responsible for both goals, why wouldn't I single him out?

Worst missed penalty decision I've seen in a long time there with Galway on the right side of it.

Will need to remember that one next time I'm convinced GUFC never get anything.

Because in that first half there were 9 other players equally as **** as him.

A late Abel Alabi goal gives us a 2-1 win over Bray - definitely the sort of game we'd have drawn, or even lost, last year, and thanks to results elsewhere, we're now only two points off the playoffs!

Boha were terrible , long balls out from the back that were over hit 8 out of 10 went straight to the keeper. Too casual at the back, if there's grass to run into run into it. Great was good at that. We'll see what happens on Monday

Harps kids doing alright again but we just cannot score. Missing so many guilt edge chances yet again. Another debut again tonight for 17 year old goakeeper Corey Sheridan, as regular keeper Oisín Cooney was missing due to a leaving cert exam today. Real GLITW sort of behaviour.

Athlone are all sorts of crap.

Ah here, he's terrible. Of course the whole team was bad but's no coincidence that our form improved when he was injured. He's been making these type of mistakes ever since his first game for the club. The difference between him and Grehan is stark.
