John Martin left Dundalk,Shels the apparent destination…..
Who knows, that may well turn out to happen but he did sign a contract until the end of 2025 in May. Working away from his family isn’t a new thing to him either, he’s worked in Finland in 2020 and 2021 until coming to Pats for the last 2 seasons so he’s not had a prolonged spell at home in Scotland in a good few years now

With Axworthy re-signing today, looks like he'll be the settled No 1 for 2024.
Dean George signs for Longford. Training in Dublin a help undoubtedly.
Shrewsbury Town signing Roland Idowu from Waterford….

Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Lee Devitt re-signs for Treaty. Best player last season.
Ryan McLaughlin has signed back for another season. He looked good in the Cork cup semi. A handy player to have in the squad.
Ngl, never even twigged it myself, just the wrong turn of phrase. Thought it was nice to see a player mentioning the Centenary year. I will highlight it, albeit bit late now. And don't worry I'm sure the club won't ban you for having a different opinion on something, that's not how it works despite the false narrative continuously being spread by one poster on here.
Martin signed and sealed for Shels today. Happy with that one always thought he was good young player and falls into category of player Duff thinks he will be able to get more out of

John O'Sullivan joined Shels aswell….

Confirmation from Bohs that Coote, O'Sullivan, Nowak, Twardek and Williams have left the club along with Radkowski's loan expiring. Big rebuilding job required with the defence now considering the two Polish lads played nearly every game.
Not sure if this gives Devine more excuses next season or fewer. He now has none of what some would consider "the dead weight" left from Longs reign but there will have to be a significant number of signings made to replace them. I don't think there are enough defenders at the club at the moment to field a starting 11 so would want to look at that as a point of priority and a striker or we could end up in the situation Sligo found themselves in last season i.e. selling their best players mid season and hoping next season is better.
