There will definitely be away fans in attendance tonight. If they wear neutral colours and don’t cause any bother then no harm in it. I go the home end away occasionally for a better view of the game.

They'll be struggling to get 1,000 it looks like in Oriel Park. Thought there'd be more interest after the Cup win.

Edit: Late arrivals, filling out a little bit. Could maybe reach 1,500+

I was always wondering Tallaght Saints is this hidden terminology for Shamrock Rovers especially for tonight!?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Despite all the conspiracy theories Rovers did receive an allocation in the main stand. They must be the well got Rovers fans , must be around 100-150

Not a ticketed allocation, the 50 or that were there in the cordoned off area were for club directors/officials etc that every club gets/got, even in the behind closed doors games earlier in the year

Big crowd in Dalymount tonight. No away area. Surprised if it was less than 2,000 in attendance.

2,200 tickets available at the Brandywell but 214 unsold. 1,000 of the tickets went on sale 48hrs before the game with very little publicity.

Sponsors "apparently" (and rightly so got) *** tickets.

    Estimated attendance 2,460.
Jeez it's good to be back on this thread.

1711 the official attendance at the RSC, 200 free tickets gifted to kids by the owner, a lovely gesture.

I imagine that there wasnt many away fans at it with the lack of interest with our season being crap. Any other year I would ave went but none of my pals will go so why should I?

Spoke briefly to a few as they passed Maileys bar just before the game. They seemed happy 🍺 but yes, compared to the normal decent crowd you's bring it looked less than 20 fans there.

Dundalk don't seem to be announcing attendance, probably due to restrictions still in place, but some crowd there last night and queues outside which was great to see. Front of stand closed off as thats close to the dugouts, and SD in place in the stand, but the shed was packed, and decent crowd town end terrace of the stand and behind goal, to be fair decent support down from Bohs too.

Hard to put an estimate, but I would think 2,500 ?

Great to sell out the game, but no tickets available for Derry fans is the wrong move, in my opinion.
100-150 tickets for them in the square end of East stand could and should have been accommodated.

I agree we should have sold 150 to Derry.
Its hard though to explain to Rovers fans who want to get in that we are letting Derry fans in instead.
Pats did the same last week for the Rovers match.

22nd of October cant come soon enough when we can go back to full capacity

Did not look like 4 k last nite and the atmosphere possibly a little flat but the football and passing from both teams was really good gas to hear people shouting to boot that ball forward cave man style them days is over folks. Ferrugia looked good when he came on. Yes we are not as a good as the last year but everyone on the team bar Lopez and he has really upped his game is so comfortable on the ball, next season should see this team really click.

How did Longford only give Bohs 250 tickets when the rest of the ground was virtually empty? Do they not like money? I thought that was only a Bohs thing.

Didn't hear any figure from Finn Park on Friday, but reckon it was about 1,700 or thereabouts, with about 80 Dundalk fans. Decent crowd given the horrible rain.
