same could be said of our last match before lockdown. Dundalk had 1k and some Rovers fans didn’t get tickets.

once it’s 50% or more, away fans imo should get 10%.

didn’t like the silence when Derry scored. It’s just not proper!

we’ve had away fans in earlier matches. Was that a condition of the ‘trial’?

From wot I heard at game unofficially there was a serious mixup by club from a close Bohs friend at the game. We have noone to blame but ourselves imo.

Sorry I think someone asked what the capacity was at the minute and it’s 2100 at Harps,we got over 1700 for the cup game the other week which I think is the biggest we’ve had this season..

Anyone know what the attendance in Drogheda was? The home stand under the camera opposite us was absolutely packed bar the 50 or so seats closed off for an extra RTE camera up on scaffolding. Pats were given 200 tickets and I couldn�t see the little seated stand on our side although I think it�s just for subs and journalists. Overall looked way more than 50% capacity anyways

Sleeping giant? More like still sulking giant!! 1500 is a serious fall from the old average of the budgeted for 20k at every game...

Attendance was 1,809 at the Cross. End of season game with nothing to play for against bottom of the table Wexford. Happy enough with that.

Nice attendance for a dead rubber game.
Covid attendance %'s etc and the capacity of your/our stadium may have been a factor in our attendance being only 1800(and was sold-out)

In fairness, there was a good atmosphere at the game and Dundalk fans sang continuously despite what has clearly been a poor season.

Possibly also to do with Dundalk being a small enough club with small enough support anyway no?

1800 on the button was the reported or 'allowed' attendance, seemed to be social distancing in the seating in the stand, but the shed was jammers, and fair amount of home fans in away end, and in other areas over the ground. I would estimate close on 3k.

I did see the game but only fastforwarded parts of it. Was there a ban on away fan travel?

Not a ban as such, tickets did not go on sale online to allow home fans make up the 1,800 'limit', this meant there was the unusual sight of home fans on both open seating areas each side of the stand. The only other occasion home fans go into away end is early euro round games.

I did actually see 2 Rovers fans walk out, but they were with DFC fans, so obv a connection, I`m sure a few made it into the stand also, and nothing wrong with that if they did.

It's good for Dundalk fans to get to experience the 'joys' of the away end at Oriel

As mentioned many times before, its not that much better the other side of the stand, as can't see the far corner either.

But the joys were at least real this time as the home fans had full access to the lilywhite lounge via the away end, and it only fully re-opened that night !
