Looking forward to Greenwood and Pearse tonight, hopefully it will feel like a derby, tight game, crunching tackles, the usual derby banter!! Greenwood off the back of a few poor results, hopefully there not just going through the motions and get it together tonight and give us a good game, pearse will be too strong, 2-0 pearse. Other than that i think there will be home wins all around in premier.

3-1 Pearse Celtic,I can honestly say the ref was appalling today!gave 3 greenwood players two yellows each wouldn't send them off when pointed out to him and when jogging away he starts laughing to himself, nothing like a local derby game😎

I quite enjoyed the game, the pitch wasnt the best but both teams had to deal with it and played some decent football at times, greenwood are much better than some of their recent results and i thought they were very good against a strong pearse side with some quality players, were unlucky to concede from 3 free kicks, one an absolute worldy!! not sure about the 3 players getting booked twice, didnt notice that, there was alot of yellows though which u would expect in a derby game. Pearse got off to a great start after a few minutes, greenwood keeper parried a free and pearse were quickest to react, midway through second half pearse got another free on the edge of the box, blonde lad midfield left legger, hit an unstoppable shot, right in the postage stamp. Greenwood had some chances of their own in first half but for some good goalkeeping it stayed 2-0 at half time. Greenwood came out very livley in 2nd half and deservedly got one back from the spot, but another free kick caught them only a few minutes after, a whipped in free, not sure if it went straight in or off the defender but the keeper probably should have came for it. Bit of a scuffle followd a few minutes after which resulted in pearse keeper getting sent off for a bop, needless really, could cost pearse big time, his kick outs alone even! Game died out a bit, pearse had a few scrappy moments in their box, but held in well, greenwood had a man sent off aswel for a second yellow for kicking out before the end. All in all quite a good game i thought

If greenwood play the way they did today throughout a season they be doing very well in the league,I reckon the ref left to many rough tackles go that made it a battle all round, pitch was shocking ground rock solid ball bobbled everywhere very hard to get hold of a game on these type if pitches.great game would keep you on your toes till the final whistle.

I agree there, the ref lost control a bit, he was leaving takles go that should of been frees, and was booking players for stupid things, very inconsistent, i dont think i have seen him before, maybe i have but im not sure, theres always going to be bad refs, there was when i played and there will be in 20 years, nothing you can do.... Looked like a bop from where i was anyway, player probably went down a bit easy alright but as soon as you make contact your giving the ref a decision to make. Unfortunatly for pearse i think he got that one correct,,
