Heard pike lucky and the boro hammered, balla and carew maybe the teams to watch??.and Geraldine's by all accounts.
It was Hibs 2-4 Aishling and can I ask you did you even watch the game????? We had a poor first half but were easily the better team in the second half and had numerous opportunity's to score, got 2 in the last 10 mins to make it 4-2 to aishling and to say we will do well to get a point this year is a bit of a joke of a prediction really..
Jenventuz - Aisling not one of the better teams in the premier.
From what i was told Johnny O, had a field day and they took the foot off the gas in the second half?
Who were the scorers?
Would like to see hibs do well, but have a feelng its gonna be the same as Shannon Town when they went up.
Wasnt at the game, and due to the weather didnt watch any game!
Hibs should've 2 or 3 goals up before Aisling scored their first, Jamie Egan put the ball into the box on at least 3 occasions but the Hibs players missed, sliced and ballooned every time. Aisling scored with their first chance, Johnny O'Koro with a header from a corner. Hibs had another couple of great chances but same story again, missing real good chances, O'Koro scored his second with a shot that could have been easily blocked and saved. Hibs Keeper made 2 good saves, first touching a low shot around to post and again saving with his legs. Aisling scored again just before half time to make 3-0 at the break.
Second half Hibs upped their game a bit but an unfotunate own goal really was the nail in the coffin. Both teams kept on pushing for goals and Hibs found the net with 10 minutes left with a shot from close range after Egan again putting the ball into the danger area, this time Hibs took their chance. With about 5 minutes to go a free kick into the area was headed home from close range by Farrell to make it final score 4-2 to Aisling.
To be fair to both teams they played some good ball in bad conditions. Hibs imo didn't look out of place and if they took their chances they could've won this game but will have to learn that if you don't take them you will pay the price.
Corbally 4 Wembley 4, some game for the supporters who braved the conditions last night,we scored with last kick of the game so pleased to take a point. Corbally have improved from last year and will be a tough at home although their time wasting during the game was a joke.As for us we need to get all our players back to make an impact this season, players watching from the sideline for various reasons is a waste of time.Best of luck to corbally for the season.
