Was that game scheduled previuosly and cancelled if I remember correctly? Should be a great match, Limerick are basically a Premier side so it's no surprise the likes of Sligo want friendlies against them.

Ya I think it was schedueled for the 18th in The Showgrounds previously. Should actually be a decent game I would think.

Yeah was originally down for Sat 11th but no refs available that weekend.
Would have liked to go to Showgrounds but Galway is a handy trip for both sides I suppose.

    Limerick FC 3-2 Limerick FÁS

Goals: Steven McGann, Shane Guthrie, Barry Sheedy

Town beat Bohs 2-1 tonight. It was a 3 30 minute thirds game. Both teams using their strongest available squads apparently

Limericks own Colin Daly got the second for the FAS after some confusion about the back pass rule.

Few more LoI heads knocking around that FAS team aswell.

goals from Shane O'Connor (penalty that he won himself) Davin O'Neill (absolute cracker) and Vinny Sullivan (Dirk Kuyt would have been proud of how close in he was)

I think someone told me he was playing on the left side. He didn't really get much of the ball to be honest, so it would be hard to judge him based on what I saw. Looked nippy though, if that's any good to you.
    Get into them! ( They're easyyyy! )

It's not on the list of FAI authorised friendlies, issued on Thursday.
