The referee in that game was a joke. Made some shocking decisions and in the end there was a huge bust up. He even sent off one of the Athlunkard players for suggesting that he should blow the game up with 5 mins left before someone got hurt.

He is from la la land. No surprise he sent the player off, he reversed a penalty decision against aisling when a player said of the challenge "He could have been hurt there"
The LDMC don't assign officials,paddy Collins does.he should be reffing subbuteo he's that bad.
Ollie hayes just as bad, he was terrible in the Knockainey Wembley game....

Agree, the only one's that really stand out for me at the moment are John Mc on a good day and Robbie Broe..Robbie is very good to deal with, u can have a proper conversation with him.
Agree about Robbie,but as for the other fella he has more bad days than good.

impossible to impove tho cos who in there right mind whoud be a ref in this city!!!

geting well paid for it though and also its their choice to referee.
agree with both.robbie top class and john not too bad.easily known robbie played a lot of soccer in his time as he understands how a game should be refereed.

Youd really want to stuck for cash to do it thats why theres nobody new joining..i no 1 guy tried it at schoolboy level..gave up 2 hours on a sat morning for 20e and got nothing but abuse from parents and managers...he quit and said youd be mental to do it...
Thats why there l be no improvement in standards as you have to be mental to do it...

both broe and mcnamara amongst our best refs,but its a thankless job even though money compensates somewhat.they have to put up with a lot ,the worst surely abuse from self styled experts on the game who dont know the rules.
