I just hope the Trap asks the team to trust themselves and try and keep the ball. Lumping it back to a team which loves the ball and who attack in waves is suicide. McGeady and Duff need to be on their A game. If we can get at their full backs, draw fouls and steal a goal or two from a set piece we should be fine.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if there were 45,000 there tonight. That would be more than the Slovakia game - which was on a Friday night. Unfortuantely I can't make this game but I really hope the crowd gets behind the team.
We won't have the ball for long periods but that shouldn't mean that the crowd get on their backs. Lets hope for proper support and a solid win - 2-0.
The Herald were giving away 50 tickets this week. I'd say the sold amount is a lot lower than the attendance.

Re the back 4, I mentioned it in work yesterday that if it was me, I'd stick Kelly left full, as it would leave 3/4 of the back 4 in their usual positions together, rather than moving OShea and bringing in Kelly at RB. 1 change rather than 2 (or 2 changes rather than 3 if you include Richie Coming back).
Kelly is grand at LB. He'll be no different in how he approaches the game at LB than he will be at RB. Plus, and this isn't meant as an insult, when we don't have a measured passing style, being on his weaker foot won't make much of a difference to how we work our way into the game.
It has to be said as well, that Kelly is a smashing bloke and one of the games nice guys, so it's nice to see him getting game time.
About the atmosphere, it's as damp here in D2 as it is in the audience of a take that concert. Humid too, so the pitch should be quite greasy come kickoff which will lend itself to all sorts of capers. The Lansdowne end should look well tonight, I've heard there is going to be a plain green crowd cover for our end.

oshea has played LB many many times for man utd. far happier with him there than kelly. kelly will be decent at RB where he performed well away v russia
Would fancy Kelly as a much better LB than Ward in truth.
