cahir could do with players of that quality but could not see it happening to be honest. wayne is coming to end of his career he will surely see it out with carrick. he would be some signing though one of best junior players in the country over last 10 years without a doubt. also see on waterford district leagues section on foot.ie that smurf byrnes and another town player may be joining piltown fc. any word on who the other player is.
i agree with stelling that peake need to get 5 or 6 players in but in noel byrne they have no better man to do this so hopefully they will be back up challenging next season,
any other rumours out there lads?
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
was thinking it would be barnesy alright. very good player when on his game. smurf is solid player too i would imagine both would easily walk on to most top junior teams in waterford and tipp
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
Noel Byrne track record has seen him attract decent players to clubs ( but at what cost). His record as manager not the best but has always had a decent frontman with him,a good manager knows that choosing the men around you is very important. If Villa get the players they lost last year back and add maybe 2/3 to squad why would they not be in a position to once again be the force they were when losing the league in a play off and then winning it following year.
Town and Micheal's are always the bench mark for any team in the TSDL
Any player thinking of going to Cahir will surly wait till TSDL committee decide what the make up of the Premier and Div 1 will be next season. This won't be known for a week or 2 yet!
Good Point!
A great place to have a good chat with your squad, at a party, in a pub on a Saturday night?? I can confirm that Noel Byrne is the new Villa manager and I am surprised some of you did not seem to believe Mega Tots!!!! By the way Republician did you eat your hat with or without salt?
this appointment will make villa contenders once again. saints are getting on a bit and town were less than impressive last year. if they got foggy and a few more back they will be right up there. i dont think two mile borris will welcome the news though, a tug of war for players will go on all summer
rumour has it johney connery from saints to pike in limerick is as good as done deal
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
still wont believe it honestman till i hear it from the proper channels therefore the hat is still well and truly on the head![]()
