Not sure about saints getting old as at least 3/4 of their squad under 26/27 with at least 3/4 youths coming through
As for town if they get help up front for young maguire they will b thereabouts next season and I also think Celtic will be strong next year so I believe peake will need more than Noel Byrne (as good as he is ) to compete u think they will need 6/7 players as they were so far off the pace last year
on this long enough to know how to word a transfer rumour ha . i think its fairly definate though and he has told saints he is leaving. have not heard any other rumours but would imagine town will be bringing in a few more players and will be interesting to see what peake do?
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
Noel Byrne has contacted Ian Barnes and Smurf Burns about joining Peake Villa interesting stuff should be interesting few weeks ahead.
With Clubs starting pre season i think we should turn out the lights here and start a fresh thread for new season

Republic of Ireland amateur team drew with Turkey 0-0 to-day in European Nations Amateur Cup, being played in Portugal. The irish team dominated throughout but were denied victory by a brilliant turkish goalkeeper. Adrian Walsh (Carrick Utd) played in goal and Chalky Walsh (St.Michaels) captained the side. Paul Breen and Chris Higgins were unused. Ireland will play their next game on Thursday against Serbia.
