Doyle has had 33 shots this season, 16 on target and 3 goals. A ratio of 0.09 shots to goals.
Tevez has had 86 shots, 51 on target and 18 goals. A ratio of 0.21 shots to goals.
Based on stats, Tevez is 2.3 times more likely to score from a shot then Kevin Doyle this season.
Chicharito is something insane like 9 goals from 13 shots.
I remember John O'Shea managed 4 goals from 4 shots one season.
Long has had success on Merseyside in cup competitions, we'll see what he can do against Everton.

Am looking for old Irish matches on VHS, PM me if you have some and I'll upload them here
What a ball from Harte to Long there. Talk about turning back the clock. And Coleman almost scored at the other end just before. Any ball hit just beyond the far post and Coleman will win it in the air (very like Stapleton in his heyday)
Reading up 1-0. Playing some very nice football with Harte, Hunt and Long all involved in some excellent build up play to the corner before the goal. Reading just missed a simple one on one. should be 2-0
Harte to replace Kilbane in the Irish starting XI?![]()
who had the best left foot backj in the day? Him or Andy Hinchcliffe?
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Long could do well at Everton
Another Shane Long goal today - 16th league goal of the season I think.
Ian Harte has scored 2 as well. Reading lead Middlesbrough 4-1. With our current injury list is there any hope for Harte?
"There's man all over for you, blaming on his boots the fault of his feet" - Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot
Make that 17 now.
"We lost because we didn't win"- Ronaldo
Another one tonight at Ipswich. Reading 1 up at HT.
Must be well on course to beat Doyle's best for Reading at this stage.
We play Macedonia tomorrow. You're the manager. Who do you pick? Long or Keane?
(No jokes about Long playing 2 games in 24 hours please).
