So not 19 or 21 then
    The Model Club

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

According to the Irish Times (about half way down) the FAI may not register new players until the old ones are paid, unless it gets close to an actual fixture and Bohs really want them to.

Gavin said “it would be very hard for us to register new players when the old ones still haven’t been paid the money they are owed under the terms of the deal”, but declined to rule out the league registering them between now and the club’s opening game of the season, the refixed Setanta Sports Cup game against Portadown on March 1st – in the event that the matter hasn’t been resolved by then.

What the heck does Gavin mean - that the FAI "maybe" won't register new players if the 2010 squad don't get their money?

That weak statement should send shivers down the Bohs secretary's spine!!!!

We all know this, but it's taking a few lads here a wee bit longer to get it...bless

Anyways Sligo would have no use for our league trophy polish, they haven't won it as old Sligo or new Sligo since about 1862.

New Shamrock Rovers? There isn't one, we didn't fold and start again in 2005 like Cork and Derry did last year. We continued trading and are the same company now that we were before 2005.

As there's only so much crap you can say about Bohs before you end up repeating yourself, people just want a new target!

The Department has indicated that it is in agreement to release the charge as requested. The delay in paying the players is due to not having recieved the letter from the Department yet, a legal requirement in order for the funds to be released to the club.

There is nothing to suggest any of this is a surprise to the PFAI or McGuinness.
The quotes from the dept, in todays mail on sunday would indicate that this isn't anywhere near as cut and dried as Bohs would have us believe. Their quotes today would suggest that they have no immediate intention of giving up their charge on the ground, let alone be about to write a letter indicating same. Also suggests that they'd have to get a valuation done on the ground before they'd even consider this course of action.

I think he's talking about the LOI - Monaghan could end up league champions this season in a 3 team league - with Mervue and Salthill, though it'll be a tough fight!
