They're able to pay more than the other clubs who made him an offer. I know at least 3 did
Heard tonight that Bohs have signed Rona Finn. Great signing if true. He was on trial at Wolves and Celtic. However he is doing a masters from what I hear and may prefer to stay here for educational reasons. Can't imaging Bohs being able to pay too much.
Always look on the bright side of life

Being 100% part time may be a factor if he is studying, we're training 3 nights a week apparently compared to Rovers full time training

Children in the dark cause accidents.
Accidents in the dark cause children.
I think Finny lives on the northside somewhere; not Maynooth anyway (unless he's moved out since he was with us).
Would hope he's just joining Bohs (if he is) to tide over until a move to England in the summer; really silly move otherwise. You'd imagine players would learn by now...
good news for all you feather rustlers on this thread...

Bohemians can finally focus on their preparations for the new Airtricity League campaign after the PFAI confirmed that all outstanding monies owed to players have now been paid.
The Dalymount Park club had, at one stage, been facing the prospect of a high court winding up order over unpaid player wages.
However, those fears gradually eased as the club came to an agreement with players and today's statement from the PFAI marks the end of an ugly chapter.
The PFAI statement read: 'The PFAI would like to confirm that monies owed to former players of Bohemian FC have been paid today, Tuesday 22 February 2011, the last day of the League of Ireland transfer window.
'We would like to thank Bohemian FC and the FAI; Bohemians President Robert Dunne, the club's General Manager John Doran and in particular club Treasurer Chris Brien, FAI Chief Executive John Delaney and League Director Fran Gavin.
'Without their assistance this situation would not have reached a satisfactory conclusion.'
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Did the Dept lift the charge on the ground, or did the conditions attached to the a\c the money was in change? Not fishing or anything, genuinely interested.
Only in the LOI do people embark on a victory speech/ lap of honour when players are paid money they've been owed for months!'We would like to thank Bohemian FC and the FAI; Bohemians President Robert Dunne, the club's General Manager John Doran and in particular club Treasurer Chris Brien, FAI Chief Executive John Delaney and League Director Fran Gavin.
Have the cheques cleared yet by the way?![]()
