pure mock again having our b team down for a match sunday morning when fai is a club competition and 5 of those b team players are involved with the fai team.

yeah call the league and the clowns will sort it for you... heard a few teams earlier in season already requested b teams games to be called off when A Team playing fai.. refused point blank by league but then again certain clubs in limerick have no problem getting games called of by making a quick phone call ..

no joy so far with ldmc.will wait another while before i slate them but its not looking good.also i agree certain teams make phone calls and get what they need.the so called smaller clubs just get refused point blank.

If you have one B player in the squad you can get it cancelled. That will be cancelled at tonight i say at the junior council meeting if the club requested it.Best of luck anyway on Sunday

we already requested it and were told point blank no.hopefuly they will see sense.

In fairness, it shouldn't be happening anyway................it's common sense not to fix a "B" fixture on the day of an FAI game for the "A" team, so IMO clubs shouldn't have to request anything, it should be set in stone (unless the club advise the LDMC otherwise in advance)

common sense !! But why does it keep happening year after year when fai games are on b team expected to play as well .. as you said it should be set in stone unless club asks for a game for the b team ..

Our 1b and 2b sides have no fixture this weekend due to the Carrick V Lagan game when both would probably like a game, Aaron Walsh is the only possible player to be called up and he wouldn't get a game with the 1st squad, so we'd be in opposite boat to ye,

it should be up to the b team to ask for a match if they want one but there should be no fixture unless asked for when fai on.

our b team match is going ahead as we were told point blank there is no rule that the fai is a club competition and they said they could have put our minors down for a match if they wanted to.they should be thrown out and put a younger commitee in who realises the needs of clubs.

Ye are been screwed by the Juinor council i know for a fact. A B team can not enter the FAI cup as its a club competion and alot of clubs would be playing B players or at the least have them in the squads.

i know that lad its a pure mock thats what it is.i played soccer for many years and it was always down as a club competition.when the fai was on you had no other club games on that day.i wont say anymore on it as people will get bored with it just that its an almighty disgrace from the ldmc when you are representing limerick in a major competition.we are a country team with all locals and cant afford to pay players that is why we use some of our b players.

sorry faces i have been reading some of your posts and agree it is wrong to make ye play a bgame the same day if ye dont want to but just 1 question, how are your bteam getting on? do ye stand to be relegated/miss promotion if ye lose this game on sun? maybe the lge have looked at the fixture and decided they could get a game out of the way, but the decision should be with your club whether ye want a game i agree 100percent.
