Bloody hell you pair. Both our crowds are terrible, if one is less terrible than the other it's nothing to be crowing about. League position is different obviously![]()
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Town lost two nil today. I'll report later when I'm less tired.
Sporting F*ck All!

I am not sure if I posted elsewhere but this wednesday Tolka Rovers are playing Killester in the Leinster Senior Cup replay. We should know soon when we will play the winners of this tie.

last nights match report here. town played not bad lee roche should have scored from his header that hit the crossbar. I thought a draw was a fair result. Gareth McGlynn missed a penalty for Derry. Stephen Conlon had a poor game imo too many miskicks but he did a good save from Patrick McEleney but unfortunately the ball came back out to patrick and he did a good lob over conlon even though imo conlon could have done better to stop it. otherwise it was a good workout for the town.
Kevin Dawson was on trial for us from defunct club Sporting Fingal.Town have made further signings in Graeme Dowling from St Pats and Daniel Reilly from Athlone Town. Don Cowan was on colleges duty and out injured were Cathal Brady, Craig Walsh and Austin Skelly.

How do Derry compare to us, having seen both of them?
Although I haven't seen ye play Stu I thought Derry were poor enough last night. Only for that dodgy goal I felt we were the better team. Wasn't sure about the penalty decision but I was at the far end so souldn't say for sure if it was one or not. It was put well wide in the end! Who were the subs brought on? Would I be right in saying Conlon, Collins, Dowling, Cronin, Bell, Szerbowksi, Morley were all we used?
although early days was very impressed with the performance last night, I thought for so early in the season we looked sharp and played some good football at times.
Sammon had a great game, bossed everything in the middle, my only concern will be a premier club coming in for him. In the first half I was a bit surprised that we kept trying to hold a high line, as there were 3 occasions in the first 20 mins that balls over the top nearly cost us.. Of the new players and im still not sure of there names, I thought morley did well wide left in the second half, des hope played and one or two others. Conlon was very poor when he came on, lets hope Rouse holds on to the number 1 shirt.
As I said, very early doors, but i'm cautiously optimistic for the coming season![]()
