I imagine the deal is still in its infancy, Robbie will be shrewd about his contract negotiations
considering it will likely be his last big money wage deal.

Not having a go at you joe personally, but that is a load of ballicks from Robbie Keane if there's any truth to that. . Robbie, at this stage and at the nth move of his career, having had pretty good wages for the best part of 5 years now, needs to focus on the best footballing move for him now, not financial.
Kenny Cunningham pointing out that Birmingham might not be the best move for him due to their liking of a single guy up front. Fair point.

I agree, Robbie is set up for life and doesn't need the money. But contracts are about more than money sometimes, he'll be looking for as long a deal as he can secure and probably have a get out clause based on relegation. He doesn't want to up sticks to Birmingham and then find them in the championship next year and no longer able to afford his wages.

Rumours from the tabloids today regarding Irish players. - Newcastle want Stephen Ireland on loan and David Norris to Portsmouth for 250000 stg. - Daily Mirror.

Connor Sammon tells the Daily Record, he will only leave Kilmarnock for a club that suits him. Shock, horror!

Isn't Norris a right midfielder?? Might be gearing up to let Lawrence go back to the Premiership.. Where he belongs IMO..

No...I'm not even sure he is eligible. He played for England U-19s and has a Danish grandmother. People here tend to be right though about whether players are eligible.

Anyway this article gave a list of players who are eligible for us. Kevin Nolan's name is there as well though.

rumours breaking on the Bohs board that Paddy Madden may have signed for a Premiership club. It seems highly unlikely in my opinion but worth sharing in case it comes through.
