In fairness to Stephen though, I'd say it's more a case of the journalists seeking him out at the international break rather than the other way around.

It was a press call for City in Abu Dhabi, they're over there for a friendly against the national side. What else were they going to ask one of the few internationals actually there?

Stephen can quite easily say that he no longer wants to talk about a certain topic, or issue a no comment. Players do that all the time about things they don't want to talk about, Stephen just loves the attention.
