for the bigger clubs the touhy only takes on importance if they are out of fai and mjc.

and possibly lawson....and league position dictates this also...

if you asked many players would they be bothered if it was scrapped, i would say very few would mind..

cosidering its been a while since the view have won any trophy i think they will be taking it very seriously and why would they rest players apart from the mjc which is bit away yet.

your prob right but lets be honest here apart from fairview and pike who were the last limerick team to win either the fai or mjc so with the touhy being a premier trophy im sure most teams would like it on the sideboard come the seasons end,and with most TOP teams supposedly not taking it serious the 3 teams left are hardly struggling so serious or not they will want to win it
