Where do you get your figures from? How alarmed should i be and how should i show it on here? I know what is happening at the club and i take things as they are and its not as bad as the shells heads and others want it to be ;)

If you are going to post something then at least make it new and constructive ;)
Dont forget how shells ended up in division one. Spending money they didnt have on a dream that didnt work and the glory hunters that went along with it deserting them. Shells arent doing that great now they are spending within their means now are they? Fingal are spending money they have and will build a squad with that be it on a big budget or a small one. Its a good approach and nothing to be alarmed at.
I think you'll find a large difference between an average foofball and eggchasing fan. Most eggchasers have no sense of tribal identity. They are open to the creation of amalgaamated clubs.
I bring my sons to Oriel Park because my father did, and his father did etc. I doubt I'm alone here.
To be perfectly honest, I couldn't be holed to read 29 pages of stuff.
If it wasn't there in the first place, why is this thread here? And why was Gannon paying money into the club? Where was that money going?
He put in 750,000. Fingal came out with -75,000. What is going on?
So what you're saying is that you knew about Gannon pulling out in advance? Is that what you meant when you posted this?
Because I always think that the loss of your biggest sponsor makes for a stronger club too. But then, I dropped business studies after the Junior Cert.
I don't think many, if any, will have pride in their County Council. It was a good move by Fingal CCA to look at creating a club for their region and promoting the game in the area. All areas need an identity. Fingal and it's surrounding areas have theirs already I'm sure, not everyone will buy into the club and what its about. It's great Fingal CCA have looked at creating a club for the region. Not many around the country seem to from what I can see.
Wednesday July 14th the Government passes a bill to de-zone land from residential use because there is nowhere near enough demand for it. See this article:

The very same day Fingal County Council votes to give the go ahead for the development of a brand new Neighbourhood on 270 acres, most of which is owned by Gerry Gannon. See here:

Just because you dont, doesnt mean that there isnt others who do.
As I said earlier, which you seem to have ignored, that the club was part of trying to help build an identity for Fingal and I commend the council for trying to do something positive for its region, My region.
The idea for the club was a very positive one. A slower more organic build might have been the better way to go but the reasons for the club existing are sound.
It was a very positive idea. It's a pity more areas of the country aren't doing the same. Back to back European qualification has been a great achievement by the club.
Isn't there a helpline for you to go to? I mean, addiction to past missed promotions might be difficult, blaming others is the first hurdle to remove before you can then find salvation and peace. Either that or in the immortal words of the current Ipswich boss - get over it. Life's too short to go looking for other clubs to fail, because karma has a way of coming back to bite you on the a@@, and the next time around your beloveds might not get so lucky!
Sorry hairy bowsie, my own boys are still in the Premier, hopefully remaining there instead of spending another period in the wilderness alongside "giants", though nobody knows what's around the corner and I certainly never thought I'd be watching Dundalk below the Premier. It may sound odd, but I don't actively want other clubs to fail because of my own clubs failings, that always seen a tad pathetic.
For non-Dublin people it might be news that the county has a number of identities, it used to be 2 (North and South), now with West Dublin/Tallaght etc, there is another element. However the GAA have recognised the entity that is Fingal, maybe that irks some of the garrison game followers :-)
Lep - thanks for the reply to my questions, as much as I admire both you and lampers enthuasiastic posts here about your club I really think you have to accept that your club has gone as far as it will ever go, and next season will see a totally different set up - infact how can you even pretend that you can be competitive unless Gannon has pre paid for another season upfront.
I didnt agree one bit about the set up of the club, i was a little interested when I heard about the possible move to Rush or Lusk, but that never took off, and apart from a tidy side to look at the club never made an impression with the public with home crowds frequently under 1,000, I thought they actually devalued the Premier Division at times. It was a totally pointless project in my view.
Next season, a top 5 of the two Rovers, Pats, Dundalk & Derry has a nice look to it in terms of quality, fans and tradition, Bohs are the obvious ones to miss here, but they will be back at some point.
Well at least your starting to be a bit realistic, last week you were telling us that Fingal will definitely win the league next season
*GOING OFF TOPIC ALERT*
Legendz, Inchicore is part of Dublin City Council area but its still south of the Liffey so thats enough to call it South Dublin for me and we haven't been whoring ourselves around the Northside for most of the last 25 years
