                    Sinn Fein members sitting in jeeps with "vote sinn fein" on them sitting outside polling booth staring at people coming in and out from voting. Intimidating.

                        Notify the attending Guard. It's illegal to have election promotional material within 50 yards of a polling station.

                            At least you don't vote in the North. My local polling station is a primary school, and every election day I have to run the gauntlet of around 6-7 people at the gate shoving an election flyer in my face. Another Sinn Fein tactic is sending people around the doors to check you have voted, if not you get a speech about why you should vote for them(I know for a fact some of the people that came to my door are former provo's!), not THAT is intimidating.
                            For once maybe someone will call me "sir" without adding "you're making a scene."

                                        have seen the sdlp do the same, both with waving flyers and calling at doors. not as aggressive though. northern nationalist politics are very tribal and cut throat, and boring as sin.
