I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Andy Gray saying "that's what makes this league special" when a team comes from one or two down to win a game. Never happens in any other league of course.

Use of the phrase "the post(bar) saves X team" when a ball hits the bar or post. The bar/post hasn't moved. The shot is off target. End of.....

Very true, I've had arguments with people who think that hitting the post is a shot on target. I'd swear I've seen stats on TV that support their opinion as well, that's the most annoying part.

Use of the phrase "We'll touch base" in any conversation!!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

I agree entirely. Also 'ballpark figure,' 'going forward,' 'meeting challenges,' and 'one to one.'

                        I work in customer care.

Going Forward !! Really annoys me. I have a supervisor at work who constantly uses that phrase. But the fact is, we are not going forward, but round in circles most of the time.

Yes, it's the real buzz phrase at the moment. Gift grub take the p@@@ out of Cowan about it since he is a frequent user. It has only crept in over the last year or two going back

Also commentators saying when a team is promoted to the EPL "this is worth at least 40 million". They forget to add "unless they're relegated in which case administration isn't far behind".
