"Young" Republicans. Most of them were in their 30s. Vance called them "kids". Which is probably pretty accurate mentally.

One day an ICE agent will look at the other masked agents around him, and echo David's Mitchell's immortal line ....

            "Are we the baddies?"

            .... well, maybe not.

An ICE agent this weekend thought it was a great idea to dress up as a Nazi and go to a costume party in Georgia.

Halloween is just around the corner, and most people know it's not a good idea to dress up as a Nazi -- except for one dude from Georgia who had to learn that lesson the hard way.

It's probably beyond many of them, but that big signing bonus may have attracted a fringe of people who aren't entirely comfortable with what they're doing but need the money.

As for the east wing of the White House, if only that were the worst thing they'd done. It's only a building; rather a symbolic one of course.

So with the US's main carrier group being transferred from the Med to the Caribbean does anyone think that there might actually be a war with Venezuela. Its significant when the USS Ford is the main projection of US military in the Middle East, and to a lesser extent parts of Africa and toward Russia/Black Sea. Maybe Donald is a little more bothered by economic and popularity numbers and thinks a foreign war is needed, war on drugs or course and nothing to do with wanting control on an oil 'rich' nation. Recent mayoral and gubernatorial elections could make him twist rather than stick!

The Election results this weeks will definitely have him scrambling. Thank God we are finally starting to see some real push back against him, its a year too late but the No Kings movement seems to have translated to the polls. I was having a conversation yesterday with one of my neighbors yesterday who is a life long Republican, but despises Trump. He is p1ssed off that we in California voted for what amounts to Gerrymandering for Democrats in response to Texas and other States just applying similar without a vote. What I said to him was that I actually didnt like the Gerrymandering but I absolutely voted for it because its the first time I can see that the Dems are fight back a bit dirty, and that absolutely needs to happen. This movement now needs to accelerate with the mid term elections in mind for next year. There needs to be historic collapse in Republican seats if we are going to show that Trumps policies are going to be stopped.

But meanwhile Infantino wants to give the cnut a Peace Prize.....
FIFA has announced the creation of a peace prize, which it plans to award for the first time at the World Cup draw on Dec. 5 in Washington.

Will Mandani's election scare Republican voters in to being more active in actually voting? A muslim left leaning Mayor in one of the 2 biggest cities - Ive heard it said that him winning could lead to 10 additional votes to republicans simply from fearmongering, islamaphobia, jingoism etc. Or is it seachange in support for MAGA?

The MAGA crowd are pretty constantly kept worked up already. Ten additional votes? Do you mean ten more seats in the midterms or something?

I think the opposite is actually happening tbh. His base will just vote no matter what, but I think that theres a lot of people that voted for him last year that regret it, especially in the hispanic community. Now, they were fcukin idiots for voting for him in the first place but I think we are starting to see a strong move against Trump happening now. Even Tucker Carlson and Majorie Taylor Green are speaking against what the Republicans are doing right now. When they are the voice of reason things are really messed up
