Word around is that Coachford won't be as strong and if that's the case then it's open season. Will Grattan go for it again and be up there after Knocka lads left? UCC could be dark horses again like metnioned above depending if the college don't move on their stronger players to senior. They are back so should be starting games and we can see. Reading in Echo last week that Springfield strengthened.

Predictions but very tough to call :

    Springfield
    Cathedral
    Watergrasshill
    Grattan B
    Boher
Did cathedral not get hammered 5/1 by some bar team and Grattan have Notting from what I have heard the should have whipped that manager fat little fella that with knocka now when the had the chance few seasons back but to late he back and has knocka back to full squad fear play not easy to get players nowadays!!!Springfield alway had good side but never did it for me the need strength the back line big time ucc will alway have good side also but the won't fight with heart like knocka our Cathedral because there side do be from all over the country there be some battles with Cathedral and knocka the foxy lad and John cocaran on separate teams be some games to watch some lads ta get goals !!!

Presuming it’s 2 up 2 down for promotion/relegation, this is what I’ll go for.

Premier - 1st: Coachford 2nd: Springfield Relegated: Glenthorn & Village
      Premier A - 1st: Knocknaheeny 2nd: Cathedral Relegated: Waterloo & Donoughmore
      Division 1 - 1st: Watergrasshill 2nd: Shandon Relegated: Rathcoole & Blackpool
      Division 2 - 1st: Boscos 2nd: Los Zarcos Relegated: Imogeela & Rylane
      Division 3 - 1st: Boher 2nd: Rathcormac

Some bar team? ? doolans cow you mean. Will grattan be under pressure to field an an and b team if a lot of their lads gone to grattan? The northside really don’t help themselves with all these teams collapsing and reforming and players moving around like that.

Glenthorn playing The cow at home tomorrow night, might shed a bit of context on the cathedral game, Glenthorn being one of the weaker premier sides should have a similar result if not worse if Cathedral are all they’re cracked up to be

Cathedral had a fantastic pre season beating good opposition from the buisness league and MJL but I suppose one bad result against a 2 time Quad winning “pub team” and we just write there whole season off. No doubt they know what they are capable of. Ye could be right and they could have had a lucky season last year and a few lucky games in pre season this year but it’s comical how no body takes anything into consideration and it’s straight to cutting there heads off. Enjoy the football lads it’s not that complicated

Cathedral and Knocka are bigging themselves up for the big AOH so let's see how they go.

Interesting weekend of games and results ahead.

Glenthorn 3-3 Doolans, great game of ball for the neutral viewer, Glenthorns squad looks considerably younger than recent years

Glenthorn have recruited well they won’t be as bad as people believe, grattan and coachford will be the same. Springfield will be strong so will Knocka and Cathedral but I wouldn’t write off Banteer either. Were flying last year and just seemed to implode, the B team is gone now so the As will be stronger. the ball is not a bomb........

Gary Goals is his name. He can play 5, 6, 7 or 11 a side and scores all types including penalties.
