    Aul does it again

If knocka folded from premier they should be put back in the premier. Absolute joke of a decision

How in God's name have Knocknaheeny been put Premier A. I don't care how good a side they have, they should have to pay their dues down the divisions.
Martin C and Tom F are killing the AUL. 20 years ago we'd over 100 teams and now we've 41. Disgraceful. It's run all wrong. The business league allowed young guys with fresh ideas run the show and it's thriving now. The standard is still poor but the organisation is much better than the AUL.
Social media presence is huge and the AUL don't even have a website.

They signed a great player in Jack Lenord and the 2 lads from Mallow would get into any side, so don't think it's a repeat of Blarney St. There was a lot of older lads with Blarney St. Going be interesting to see if they will compete for the AOH again?

You need to think of what they have won. They dominated the AUL for years. Bit of respect!!! And it would ruin the leagues below. Not nice be beaten 5/6 nil every game. I think the AUL dealt with it well.

To be fair the Knocka issue is a difficult problem for the AUL.

The have to get a relegation you can’t come and go as you please with out some sort of punishment.

Then there is the issue of them being in a division that they are competitive in anything lower than Premier A and they would be strong favourites maybe Watergrasshill would be stronger in the 1st but would be well stronger than most.

As for the AUL themselves I’ve said before they have problems but they are trying to change Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Clubs must strive to be better themselves it’s easy to complain but the most important thing for any club is your own house is in order.

The FAI are try to push the sports capital big time this time round be interesting to see will many clubs get involved.

Business League have grown to 3 divisions and MJL 5.

              Not a good sign.

Let's pray for good football and better managed fixtures.

A this rate the MJL is the one that will only grow they have clubs with the real potential to have multiple teams.

The Aul has some potential to increase numbers but as seen this year a lot of B teams are gone.

Fair play to shipping league for getting an extra division but it will be interesting see have they increased numbers or is it just a re shuffle to make the whole thing more competitive across the board

Business League have added 5 I've heard.

Last year an MSL team approached AUL to put in a Junior team and no reply. No chance of growth with that carty on.

Nearly time for the start of a new season! Anyone fancy predicting the leagues and The big cups?

                    Prem: UCC
                    Prem A: Cathedral Celtic
                    Div 1: Watergrasshill
                    Div 2: Grattan B
                    Div 3: Rathcormac

                    Mossie: Springfield
                    Henry Healy: Castleview
                    AOH: Cathedral Celtic

Now these are based on the rumour mill. Hearing Coachford have lost loads due to new management. Grattan screwed cos of Knocka. Watergrasshill kept that lad Desmond. Cathedral signed Bobbi Donoghue, Skilly from village and Graham Kelly from Avondale.

Hard to see knocka not winning anything if they stick together. I think Boher will have a good crack at divison 3. Division 1 and 2 could be interesting, you wouldn’t know what the likes of Richmond, hibs, etc… will be like under new management. You would imagine if watergrasshill have the team they finished last season with they will clean house.

Cathedral will be very strong but lost their good goalkeeper, get a handy replacement and you'd fancy them to do very well. Knocka will be good for sure. Castleview will be dangerous but won't be up cnear the other two teams.

Word around is that Coachford won't be as strong and if that's the case then it's open season. Will Grattan go for it again and be up there after Knocka lads left? UCC could be dark horses again like metnioned above depending if the college don't move on their stronger players to senior. They are back so should be starting games and we can see. Reading in Echo last week that Springfield strengthened.

Predictions but very tough to call :

                                Springfield
                                Cathedral
                                Watergrasshill
                                Grattan B
                                Boher
