Well I used Grattan as an example. But I believe that only for their very strong committee they would have folded like villa and many others. Like I said 1for no player or manager is bigger than any club. Look at glen from last year. Done the treble and then 3 players go to Coachford. I wish Coachford all the best. I believe they've a serious squad. It's not all about ball. Need to dig in at times too.

Every manager that takes over a new team at all levels right through to pro back down to amateur looks to put his own stamp on things and bring the players he wants, I'm sure if you asked the Blarney St more experienced players like babsy and judge and JP Thompson who have been there a very long time if they are happy 1for is there and with the players he's talking about signing they will say there delighted and will be delighted aswell with the players being linked with the club for next season. To say there is no loyalty anymore is a bit harsh I think.. Babsy, JP Thompson, Laurence Betts, Danny Quinlan, are just a few players with Blarney St an awfully long time right back to when they were 1st division, Colin Bevan and Ivan Bevan at Blackstone, Jim O Brien Gary I Mahony at Bohs, Nearly the entire Killumney Squad have been together since eoin took over, I think there is loyalty in football and if you go through all clubs youd get the same 8-9 or 10 people who are always there and some come and some go,it's just every team in every level of the game NEEDS to bring in new players every year an manager bring who they like that's just the nature of our game.Comment

And loyalty works both ways too not just from the players, 1for won a treble and was shafted and the way littleman was treated at grattan wasn't right either, and again that goes for professionals aswell, Adkins was doing well at Southampton and was flung out the door and look at Chelsea?? Ya i just used Grattan as an example. I don't know the full ins and outs to be honest. I just know they've good people behind the scenes putting the time and effort in for the sake of the club. The premiership is just gone mad. Too much money!! But in fairness the glen had their reasons. The weather looks like games are gonna suffer.
