I've gathered quite a bit of data.
Some fudges are a fudge to far, even for the FAI.

It would require a wall of fudge high enough to destroy us all.

I don't think it'll get that far though.
You can't spell failure without FAI

I'd suggest that Cork and the league could do without 'investors' like Coughlan

Poisoners or Rapists would be a more apt description.

So.... the question being asked on our forum is whether Rovers' players would pass a picket in order to claim the walkover?

It begs the question if Cork players would put them in that position?

I'd guess that the players won't travel for the game if they strike. What's the point in getting a bus to Tallaght from Cork [if someone was willing to drive it] only to picket a ground a few hundred miles from where the guy causing the problem is?

The PFAI will sanction any strike, it'll be up to them to request how their members react, I'm sure it's been discussed with Ollie Cahill for example, he sits on the PFAI board and is a Rovers player.

Ridiculous question,PFAI are well represented at Rovers .Ollie Cahill a PFAI rep passing a Cork picket? Rovers players have already shown solidarity with the Cork players by entering the pitch at the cross wearing t shirts .Any points gained against Cork are likely to be expunged anyway .

Too little too late imo. I'd prefer a boycott but at this stage it doesn't matter the holding company is as good as dead. The best we can hope for is foras buy the name of the club off the liquidator after we are put out of our misery
Why pay a penny for the name of the club ?

Just call yourselves 'AFC Cork City'. Or 'Cork City Banana Whatsit', and then change the name back to Cork City FC after a few years.

It's less about keeping A club in Cork City, it's about keeping OUR club in Cork City.
I don't want to support another club, I just want my club to be something to be proud of.

All very well - but it doesn't answer my question.

Were Limerick any less Limerick when they switched their name to Limerick 37 for 5mins in order to ditch an old owner, before switching it back to Limerick again... ?
